We all know prospective employers like to check your social media profiles to see if they can find anything interesting (or bad) there. As a result, it’s not uncommon for people to remove Facebook pictures that show them in potentially embarrassing situations.
But what can you do if you’ve already shown those pictures to the world and now want them gone?
Not a problem: simply un-tag yourself from these photos and no one will ever see them again!
Then, you can be sure that your personal Facebook page is shaped exactly how you want it to be.

- On the top right-hand corner of the page, you will see 3 lines. Click on this.
- Click on the “Settings”

- Under “Reviewing”, Click on the option “Review what other people see on your profile”
- This will take you to your profile page
- Under your name click on the 3 dots

After doing this, in the Google search bar type your name + Facebook. When you choose the result corresponding with your name, you will be able to view how your FB profile looks when viewed by others.
You can also view your profile by using Google Chrome to open an incognito window and accessing your Facebook profile from there.
By Creating Another FB Account
If none of the above methods work, then the last option is to create a new FB account – a fake one. You can then send a friend request to your actual account and once you accept the friend request, you can use your new account to view what your real Facebook profile and timeline looks like.
Did you know that it’s possible to view someone else’s Facebook messages without them knowing. Check that article out, oh and by the way this could also happen to you so don’t take it for granted that your messages are secure!
